Publications
Biographical Sketch
Cristian V. Irimia was born in 2002 in Opelika, Alabama (USA). After graduating from BG/BRG Seebachergasse in 2021, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry—specializing in biochemistry and biotechnology—through the joint NAWI program of Graz University of Technology and Karl-Franzens-University Graz, completing his studies in August 2024. During his bachelor’s studies, he gained experience in the fabrication and characterization of organic semiconductor devices through several internships, developing a particular interest in electronic materials for biomedical applications. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Advanced Materials Science at the same universities, focusing on biological and bio-based materials. His Master’s thesis focuses on the in situ generation of reactive oxygen species using organic bulk-heterojunction nanoparticles to modulate cell behavior.
